Boo-Man-Chew in Japan... and P-Funk back in Europe soon!

More Bootsy-related news coming up today: Boo-Man-Chew will play the famous Club Citta in Kawasaki, Japan on August 12 and 13

And for the European funkateers, there's more good news as well: P-Funk will hit EU roads for a second time this year! A first show is announced for November 26 at the Théâtre National in Brussels, Belgium. More dates are most likely to be announced soon... and the Cosmic Slop Spot Blogspot will keep you posted of course!

Bootsy & Larry: New funk partners in crime?

When it comes to funk bass playing, Bootsy and Larry Graham are probably the most indisputable godfathers of the game. Now these two legends are going to record an album together - at least that's what Bootsy's funkbook says! Quote:

"Special thanks to all my Montreux Jazz Funkateers, you guys partied and gave up the funk big time. Larry G & Bootsy have agreeded to do a new album project for 2012, together we will funk up the world. So Glory be, it's time to low down & funk-key! Bootsy baby!!!"

Well, if this is really going to happen, it's going to be interesting!!
...and with a little bit of luck, we will see both on stage again soon?...

PS: I was there in Montreux, and the show was incredible! Larry joined Bootsy on stage for the encore, and yes, we DID party big time! Thanks for the wonderful experience!
